From December 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025, Liz and Rogier will embark on a hike to climb Mt. Kenya. Through this trek, we seek to raise funds to support Nynke Foundation‘s dream that everyone has equal opportunity for secondary education. Through financial scholarships and mentorship, Nynke Foundation supports education of adolescent boys and girls at risk of dropping out of secondary school in Kenya.
This year marks seven years since the loss of our daughter Nynke Njeri. We seek to raise Euro 4985 to support ten students for a year. The funds will enable ten students to complete one year of secondary school.
We believe education is a right, not a privilege, and together, we can unlock opportunities for so many deserving boys and girls. Education transforms lives, and together, we can give young girls and boys the chance they deserve. Please join us in this journey by contributing to Nynke Foundation. About Mt. Kenya
Mt. Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa and represents one of our greatest achievements, combining a memorial for our daughter Nynke, our passion for trekking, and our desire to make a difference. Over five days, Liz and Rogier will climb Mt Kenya (4,985 meters). This trekking challenge will certainly test our physical and mental limits, allow us to appreciate the beauty of nature while contributing to a greater cause of bringing meaningful change to the lives of others.
